Carolina Herrara’s latest collection of wedding gowns is inspired by various women painters, writers, and photographers. The writers include Virginia Woolf, Emily Dickinson, Karen Blixen, and Jane Austen. Pictures of the gowns are shown above.

Color me perpuzzled! Jane Austen and Emily Dickinson never even got married, and Karen Blixen’s husband was abusive and gave her syphilis. Maybe Carolina Herrera is making a feminist statement? She made Barbie’s wedding gown after all.
