not going to waste any time reblogging this because I want to enjoy my Sunday night, but seriously? like, Andy Warhol was a piece of shit who exploited a lot of people. also, have you even read SCUM? I would rather see folks unpack and problematize SCUM than waste life reading/talking about bourgie excrement like The Feminine Mystique.
before I go, I just wanna say that one of the things I secretly love about the writings of Valerie Solanas is how they very brashly and unapologetically pit women against each other. we need to talk about this. we need to talk about girl-hate. we need to talk about the fictions of solidarity. all of these things are so important — we must learn to look these monsters in the eye and embrace the fuck out of them.

I was rereading this today and thought how nice that he compares SCUM Manifesto to the Temple of Dendur in terms of cultural artifacts.
