I LOVE THIS LOVE LOVE IT.

(It kind of reminds me of when I used to tell Ruby all of the old fairy tales I could remember except they would be starring: my cats! For “Rapunzel,” Fritz Newman was locked up in a tower but his whiskers grew and grew and trailed all through the forest and that is how Monster found him and rescued him. Unfortunately I was SO GOOD at these stories that Ruby would refuse to fall asleep and keep begging for more until I was the one who would conk out.)
