Having survived the Punk Panic, the GenX Panic, and the Grunge Panic, I imagine that this too will pass. In the meantime perhaps we ought to make a scorecard for screeds about people listening to the wrong music, having the wrong haircuts, and liking the wrong books, movies, and politicians—or liking the right ones but in the wrong way—and therefore ruining the world.
